Large Rahn Surface Plate

Rahn black granite surface plate in great condition. The top has some discoloration (see in pics) where there were adhesive strips placed and some rust transference, but none of that effect the flatness. There are no chips or cracks, the surface is flawless as far as that goes.

Something unusual about this plate is that it has three air bags under it, between the wood platform and the metal stand. These appear to be for anti-vibration purposes, but we are not 100% sure. They can be removed, along with the wood platform if you just want it to sit in the stand.
